Mr. Evance Ochuko Ivwurie, Chairman, Board of Directors.

Mr. Evance Ochuko Ivwurie is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Global Marine and Energy Nigeria Limited.He is also on the Board of several indigenous companies.
Mr. Ivwurie is a Scholar of Political Science, General Management and Government, he is a Businessman, Public Servant and Politician. He holds a Master‘s in General Management from the University of Lagos.

Mr. Ivwurie was appointed Delta State Coordinator of the National Poverty Eradication Program in 2004 by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, an office he effectively managed until 2005 when he was appointed Special Advisor on Interstate Relations and later Honorable Commissioner for Special Duties and member of the Delta State Government Executive Council.
He is a member of the Strategic Management Society, USA and a honored life Member of the International Association of Business Leaders. 
Mr. Ivwurie is Edward S. Mason Fellow in Public Policy and Management and Master in Public Administration/ Mid Career Candidate at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, USA.
He has traveled extensively and has attended several Equipment Shows and Oil & Gas Seminars/ Conferences across the world.

The pioneer of Global Marine & Energy Nig. Ltd., Mr. Ivwurie‘s training, background and astute grasp of business, politics and interest in the Marine, Oil & Gas sector of the Nigerian economy has contributed immensely to the rapid growth of the company. Among other things, he is a husband and Father.

Our Corporate Social Responsibility

Global Marine and Energy Nigeria Limited values the needs and aspirations of its host communities. We care for and invest in people from our host communities just as we invest on the training of our own personnel. The communities in which we do our businesses are part of our stakeholders and we strive to earn their confidence and trust.
For example, in the current academic year, we have offered full scholarship for 25 indigent primary school pupils, 20 secondary school students and 10 university undergraduates in addition to responding to other need base requisitions from our host communities.
